Action 1st Loss Prevention, Inc. is a family-owned commercial security company based in Dana Point, serving Orange County since 1984 and run today by CEO Russell Yost. We install and service cloud access control, video surveillance, commercial locks and door hardware, all under one roof. What started as a locksmith shop became a full commercial integrator, and the same family still runs it.
Russell Yost and the Yost family still run the business the way it began: pick up the phone, walk the building, recommend what the customer actually needs, and stand behind the work. Most of our new clients come from referrals by existing ones, which, after four decades, is the only scorecard that matters.
Being both a licensed commercial locksmith and an access-control integrator is rare. The business is re-chartered to focus on commercial physical security, not just keys and locks.

Russell Yost joins
A second generation comes on board, and the company begins its pivot toward electronic security.
